Pavement Renovation at the Poznań Luboń Interchange

Starting July 21, roadworks will begin on the pavement at the Poznań Luboń interchange. The work will proceed in stages, during which changes to traffic organization will be introduced. We kindly ask for careful driving and adherence to temporary traffic signs.

Autostrada Wielkopolska SA, in accordance with its long-term investment and renovation schedule, is commencing modernization of the pavement at the Poznań Luboń motorway interchange. The work will involve replacing the asphalt layer and will be carried out in stages to minimize inconvenience to drivers.

From July 21, a temporary traffic organization will be implemented in connection with pavement replacement at the intersection of the A2 motorway and road DW430 (Poznań – Mosina route). The replacement will start at the intersection of DW430 (Armii Poznań Street) and 3 Maja Street in Luboń (on the southern side of the motorway). Road workers will make adjustments to traffic flow, directing it first onto the eastern carriageway and then the western carriageway of Armii Poznań Street.

Approximately 2–3 days later, the main phase of the pavement renovation will begin, involving the closure of the eastern carriageway of Armii Poznań Street in Luboń, along with the closure of all on- and off-ramps at the Poznań Luboń Interchange. Detours during this time will be routed through the Poznań Komorniki interchange.

• Drivers wishing to enter the A2 motorway (both towards Warsaw and Świecko) will be asked to use the Poznań Komorniki interchange. The detour to this interchange will be via DW430 and the following streets: Dębiecka (Luboń) – Unijna (Luboń) – Kościuszki (Luboń) – Serwisowa (Poznań) – Opłotki (Poznań) – Głogowska (Poznań) – Poznań Komorniki interchange.

• Drivers wishing to exit the A2 motorway (both from the direction of Świecko and Warsaw) to Luboń will also be asked to use the Poznań Komorniki interchange, and then follow a similar detour via: Głogowska, Opłotki, Serwisowa in Poznań, and then T. Kościuszki, Unijna, and Dębiecka streets in Luboń to reach DW430.

The start and execution of this phase of the work are planned to take approximately 10 working days, depending on weather conditions. Once this stage is completed, the on- and off-ramps at the Poznań Luboń interchange will be reopened for driver use.

After the completion of the above-mentioned works, a partial closure of the western carriageway of Armii Poznań Street in Luboń will follow, including closure of the entrance to and exit from Dębiecka Street. Detours will be marked through Luboń streets. Access to properties at Armii Poznań 2–2H will be maintained.

Please remember that the pace of work and completion date depend largely on favorable weather. Rain, hail, or other adverse weather conditions may delay the works.
